…that for just one hour, I could see our home the way my kids do.
I wish that I could look past the pool of spilled water under the chair…
- And the modeling wax ground into the linoleum…
- And the pencils, ponytail holders and paper scattered on the kitchen table…
- And the dishes in the draining rack that need putting away…
- And the strawberries on the counter that need washing & trimming…
- And the fruit flies that need shooing…
- And the spilled ground coffee that always needs wiping…
I wish I could just look past these things—just for one hour!—and I wish I could see our home the way my kids do.
They live and learn despite the messes.
Just for one hour…could I?
then I am strong.” (2 Cor. 12: 9-10)
