My 3-year-old is screaming bloody murder right now.
Why?
I’ve just put her in her room for quiet time.
Why?
She’s been bouncing off the walls for hours and I needed to take a small break from her.
Why?
I’ve been trying to work in the classroom today and I feel frustrated that I’m not getting much accomplished.
Why?
We start school on Monday and I need to be ready.
Why?
We’re a homeschooling family and I’m the teacher.
Why?
I like to teach and feel honored to be my children’s primary educator.
Why?
Because I love them and I love that I get to stay home with them.
That’s why.

I’m feeling a lot calmer now and so is Angela.
I think I’ll go in and read a book to her.
