…when I said, “Okay, everybody, let’s get ready to go!”
And this was just for a quick trip to the donut store!
I’m totally serious.
You should see what this kid tries to take to Mass.

I’m Margaret in Minnesota, and this is my mom's-eye perspective of a kid-heavy life. I love the Lord; I take lots of photos; and I try to always tell it like it is, from sex to depression and everything in between! I hope you enjoy your time here. ♥

Perhaps she’d find a soul mate in my 6 year old son who still can’t get in the car without a yellow linus blankey and greenie CareBear?! 🙂

Got three of ’em myself. Isn’t it fun!? (Insert crazy faced icon over the junk always left behind in the car!)

I am NOT showing this picture to my “Mary”! Her bed (the top bunk) looks like that, and under the bottom bed, and pretty much anywhere she has played, she loves to hoard.
Oh, yeah, the van looks like that too. I wonder if like personalities would get along?
The only thing we can do about them is laugh…thanks for the laugh today!

I’ve got a five-year-old version of that. If I mention we are going somewhere she automatically packs a bag! I mention we are spending the afternoon with some family friends and she says, “Ok, I’ll get ready.” Get ready means throw half of what you own into a giant grocery bag and drag it with.
I must say, it’s a bit easier to leave her bags in the van than it might be to extract some of those animals from your adorable daughter. What a funny sight. Creative? Yes. Keeps Mommy on her toes? Yes again. Thanks for the laugh.

I really like your blog. The first post I way was Wordless Wednesday and then your shoe story made me tear up as I remember similiar moments we have experienced. Thanks for posting your story I have been to wimpy to post mine. I had to comment on the pics of the kids going out because they made me laugh out loud. It is 10:30pm and the house was quiet for a rare moment so I actually scared the sleeping baby when I laughed. I love your name too! Our newest is named Margaret. -from a new blog reader
