The bad news first.
After ministering to Angela who walked out of bed (yes, walked out of bed) at 2:00 a.m. this morning, I couldn’t get back to sleep. “Why not go downstairs and write a blog post,” I says to meself. (At 2:00 a.m. in the morning, I always talk like a pirate.)
Unfortunately, the computer WASN’T WORKING. How dare it? I tried every little computer junkie trick up my sleeve—testing the connection, rebooting—to no avail. Having already brewed my cup of half caf, (don’t lecture me), I needed to do something with my insomnia.
But what?
The good news is I spent four hours working in the classroom. I got Every. Single. Stack. of papers sorted and my lessons planned through Christmas vacation.
So.
Good news for me.
Bad news for you.
Ad Jesum per Mariam,
PS. Aren’t I presumptuous?
Aren’t you exhausted? Please tell me you are going to take a nap today!!!
Good news for me, you gave me a laugh this morning, especially the half/caf thing!! (at 2am)
Wow, you are much more productive with your insomnia than I ever am with mine. Good for you! How’s the pg going? Still saying our prayers.
When DID you sleep?
I’m much to lazy to get up, even with insomnia. Many decades may be prayed, but definitely in the reclined-under-the-covers position!
Good for you for using your time well! I was up a lot last night with my cold and I just listened to my husband snore. I am fairly sure that was not productive.
Hope that the children make today easy for you.
You are a peppy gal!
Good for you…and, yes, good news for us!
Argh (said in a pirate voice…hey, I’m trying to keep up with the theme of the post here)! Good for you for doing something so productive with your time. 🙂
Prayers for you tonight, Margaret. I trust you’ll sleep well tonight (God and kids willing). 🙂
It’s 3:15 am here and I’m nursing in my messy schoolroom. I’m very happy for you.
Thank God that you can do something with insomnia. I can’t even get up to do something for fear I’ll never get to sleep again and then have to call in to work because then I’ll not be able to drive from exhaustion from being up all night or some such thing.
And let me tell you, Julie talks to herself in 3rd person when she’s tired. Talking like a pirate would be more interesting. Julie will suggest it to herself next time.
* uh, Julie is Adoro. 🙂
