A Pre-Thanksgiving Must-Read

November 20, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Family Fun, Gratitude, Minnesota Me 4 Comments

Can be found over at Diane’s.

And for dear Diane, (who is my cyber-twin, by the way, in terms of temperament), is the following photo:

Because all work and no play makes Jem a dull boy!

Oh, and lest you think that this picture is a totally idyllic representation of life here in Minnesota, what you don’t hear in the above photo is the slightly prideful (though entirely accurate) complaint made by the kid in the middle:

“But Mom! If you take a picture with the girls in it,
your readers will think they helped!”

Wow, nice job, Jem. As soon as Nastia sees this, she’ll be begging me for some cups.

I would want full credit myself.

Thank you so much for the link, Margaret. And how honored I am to be considered your cyber-twin! (Are we strictly talking angst here?)

    Love you!

Great job Jem, I figured it was you, that built it by the way you are kind of protecting it from your sisters!!! I have a son who makes masterpieces and has sisters who like to go by them!!

Great idea, I remember it from last year, I am going to have to get some dixie cups!!!!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Margaret! I have not been commenting much, I know, I figured out I think it is because my 17 month Angela is SO busy, (as she is crying by my leg right now) and it is just too hard to check blogs. I do check quickly though and still love you and would love to comment every time!!

    God Bless you sweet Margaret!
    Love, Jamie

OH, I forgot to mention a great snack to make for Thanksgiving for kids:
    Cornucopias

    Bugle snacks
    vanilla frosting
fruity pebbles (the generic of it)

Dip the bugle snacks in the frosting and thne in the fruity pebbles!! That easy and kids love them!
