Here is a photo of my winter world last Sunday.
And here is a photo of my winter world the following day.
Go Northwest Airlines! Go Hawaii!
Did you know I’d been away? : )
Ed. note: My husband, being a prudent man, asked me to wait to blog about our trip until we returned. So here we go! Are you ready to re-live our week on Oahu? Highlights include the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbor, Snorkeling, Scuba diving, and throwing up all over the ocean. I repeat, are you ready?
OKay, I am just so glad to have come here on a sunday so I could comment!!! Your lenten sacrifice has been a test for me, too!!! I have wanted to say OH SO MANY THINGS!!! (All of which are out the window now, someplace far, far away, keeping the things-I-forgot-to-buy-at-Target and the-people-I-meant-to-call-back company!
Love the pics! Glad you had a good trip!
Stacey: you can always e-mail me.
welcome back margaret! I can’t wait to read about your trip/. I am one handed typing – sorry for no caps.
I’m ready! I want to hear all the details so I can soak in the sun and sand with you virtually. I LOVE the beach and I haven’t been to one in several years. š
I think you’re a dirty dog for taunting us, but I will enjoy living vicariously through you this week.
Welcome home!
I can’t wait to hear everything you did…
And, ditto Stacey.
Yeah, you’re home! Can’t wait to hear all about it! GET TYPING!
Wow, welcome back!! What wonderful contrasting pictures! I do hope you had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to read all about it next Sunday!
Welcome home!
Love,
Karen E.
Did you say throwing up? Oh dear. Happy Sunday, Margaret.
That sunshine looks delicious!
How exciting! I was fortunate enough to get to visit Oahu when I was in junior high with my family, and we visited some of the same places. I am curious to see how things have changed (or are the same!).
Do we hafta wait all week???? LOL!
š
You look like you had a marvelous time!
Aloha!
I thought the first picture looked pretty wonderful, that is…until I saw the second winter wonderland. That water looks amazing! I hope you had a wonderful time in Hawaii. Welcome back.
WOW, I did take notw in your visual DNA, that you like to blog (even on vacation).
Pretty sneaky SIS!
The view is marvelous from my end. Hope the vacation was just as good!
what fun! I’ve never been to Hawaii, but one of my sons is Damien, after Fr. Damien of Molokai, so I always feel a spiritual connection with the place. Thanks for the sunshine picture- I’m feeling more cheerful already.
Margaret, how fun! I was just wondering about your trip, as I’d remembered it from your wedding anniversary post. Tell us more!
And please, more pictures!! š
Pictures! We want pictures! š
Lovely to have you back, dear.
Phew… so glad the secrets out! I couldn’t hold it any longer, lol.
I can’t wait to hear about your vacation and see the pictures!!!!
I can’t even stand to read this kind of thing. I can’t believe you went to Hawaii when we were so happy to get out for a walk yesterday in the balmy 50 degree weather. ARRRGGGGHHH!!!!
Oh well, I’m glad at least SOME people get away from this winter heck-hole sometimes…even if it is never me.
