Odds and Ends Saturday

December 16, 2006 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, odds and ends 6 Comments

First, I would like to welcome a lovely new author to our little corner of the blogosphere, Kristen at Small Treasures. Her blog is no small treasure! The perfect new “feed” for your Bloglines subscription, this site is elegance and faith combined.

Second, The Loveliness of Preparation is being celebrated over at The Bookworm’s blog. As always, there is a host of fun reading. Tea is optional but not required.

Third, I was sad to say goodbye to one of the sweetest new blogs I’ve seen. Jill, you will be missed.

Fourth, we put up our tree tomorrow! The children are so excited. They don’t know about the big surprise yet, which is to camp out all night beneath its lovely, twinkling lights telling stories and sipping cocoa. It’s Gaudete Sunday, after all!

And finally, call me “Clarence,” ’cause:

You Are an Angel

A truly giving soul, you understand the spirit of Christmas.
What Christmas Ornament Are You?

…which I think was assigned to me because of my love of SNOW.

Which we still don’t have.

Sigh.

Have a blessed weekend!

    I am a “snowman”.
“Friendly and fun, you enjoy bringing holiday cheer to everyone you know.”

Margaret: I’ve just discovered your blog. Even though I don’t have children, I really enjoy it. I see you are expecting a new arrival..Congratulations!

I think you and I have met once. Did you take Fr. Altier’s class at St. Agnes last Fall/Winter?

Do you put ornaments on the tree when it goes up or do you wait until Christmas Eve?

Matilda: we put the ornaments on right away.

    Cathy: Nope, that wasn’t me!

This result is not a bit suprising! You are an angel if ever there was one!
