Christmas Tree Talk, Guy Style

December 19, 2006 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Anecdotal, Humor, Minnesota Me 6 Comments

Stephen, while sitting at the couch and considering our recently assembled (yes, assembled) Christmas tree: “Mommy, I like how you spread the branches of our tree out.”

Me (pleased to be appreciated for our tree’s lovely conical shape, which required some effort on my part after its having been squished in a box all year): “Thank you, Stephen!”

Stephen: “It’s just like a giant spear.”

Pause.

“Or a lance.”
