It was fun!

November 21, 2013 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Gratitude, Minnesota Me, Special Events 20 Comments

And I would do it again in a heartbeat!

(I’m the short one on the right.)

(Although…and I’m probably splitting hairs here…it would even more fun if I were paid šŸ˜‰

Not paid as much as Diana, though, ’cause she’s a pro. Gosh, was she ever! It was totally interesting to be in the KARE 11 studio and I’ll tell you more about it later. Today, though, we’re celebrating my sweet daughter Cate’s 13th! And tomorrow, Felicity turns 11!

It’s that time of the year again: back-to-back birthdays that leave me panting.

Seriously, how many trips to Target can one mom make?

Anyway, may I just quickly say thank you for all your prayers?! You did pray, right? Because I wasn’t nervous and I felt at peace. That had to be prayer, I know it–that and the splash of brandy in my coffee that morning. (What? Stop judging. It calmed my nerves.)

I will upload the video when I get the code  Got it! Here you go:

 Thank you again…and YOLO!

Wahhhh!!! I can't get the video to load. Stinkin' macbook! I know I have some sort of virus on it. Dang. Well, I'm very happy for you anyway and wanted to say congrats on a job well done.
You look darling in that first photo at the top of the post.

Great! With no family visiting to fill the day with extra activity, and since we will be joining my aunt for dinner, I've not been sure what to do with our day without needing to prepare all kinds of food. I think we might work together on the turkey kabobs to bring with us!

I vote to make this a regular segment on Kare11. You really did a great job. I think the kabobs are my favorite. I am going to try it. Happy birthday to your beautiful daughters. I have one turning 9 today.
