I peeked! It’s a healthy baby…

[The Big Update]

Boy? Girl?
Baby Bug II

That’s right! God has blessed us with a set of double bookend boys! (a phrase originally coined by my sweet friend, Charlotte.)

Thanks for being patient with me!  I wanted to tell my family first. ☺

[End of the Big Update]

Come back tomorrow morning at 9:00 for the big reveal.

(Hey, c’mon. I’ve waited seven kids to find out ahead of time! You gotta know I’m gonna have some fun.)

Love me anyway,

Something about the profile makes me think boy but maybe that's just wishful thinking because I would dearly love your sweet George to have a baby brother. Then again, baby sisters are delightful and we all know how delightful youngest daughters are. I just don't know and I can't believe you are making us wait. Yes, I love you anyway, but I'm naming any extra grey hairs on my head that show up between now and tomorrow after you!

Always just a relief (and blessing) to know it's a healthy baby! We didn't know with the first, and "sort of" knew with the second (the position wasn't the best to be certain).

Can't wait to hear! Are you telling the kids yet?

OH, I just love those profiles! Never gets old, does it? 🙂

We waited until our 6th or 7th baby to finally see what gender our babies were. Now we find out with every new child.

You are so MEAN…. 😉 I'm going with boy, I think. And I rejoice with you for the healthy blessing!!

We didn't find out for the first five… but finally, for the sixth kiddo, I really wanted to find out. Craig didn't want to know. So, once the ultrasound was complete, he left the room with the kids, and the technician showed me that 'Crash' was a boy!! And I kept the secret the whole rest of the pregnancy…
I had bought a new little blue outfit, washed it and safely tucked it into my sweater drawer. Once Neal was born, I told Craig where to find the new 'going home' outfit, and he brought it to the hospital when we were discharged!!

    Oh, and as an update-
I was so excited to check this update that I was ignoring some brewing trouble over at the kitchen table, and so right when I saw, "Boy" on the ultrasound picture, my own baby boy pulled a cereal bowl off the table and sent milk and oatmeal flying everywhere.
    Worth it.
So excited for you! (Would have been with a girl, too. But, just knowing is FUN!)

Congratulations!! Last year we were blessed through adoption with our 1st son after 3 daughters. I was 45 when he was born. Oh I was teasing a bit about the chocolate since I'm in Ohio. Of course if either of us is ever near one another I will owe you some tea and treats.
