Iām Margaret in Minnesota, and this is my mom's-eye perspective of a kid-heavy life. I love the Lord; I take lots of photos; and I try to always tell it like it is, from sex to depression and everything in between! I hope you enjoy your time here. ā„

Not to be outdone, out here in the frigid central parts, we are currently at -20 and we dipped as low as -28 overnight.
Hawaii is sounding pretty tempting this morning š
Rachelle says
Yep, mine reads -21. Why do we live here?

Davey's heading off to Georgia this weekend and he has not hesitated to point out the pleasant temperatures down there this week. No minuses here this winter, but it's still pretty cold to work at 6Ā°!
Meghan says
We are currently sitting at -26.

If I could I would send all of you ladies some warmth from Florida. Although its a bit wet today, at 67degrees, we're still 70+ degrees warmer than where you are – Yikes you guys are cold!!!
RealMom4Life says
Margaret, I would not shamelessly put a link to my blog on yours but you really gotta try this when it is bitterly cold.
This picture even made it on the news a couple years ago when we had that cold snap then.

Wow – that is cold. And here I am feeling sorry for myself because the temp warmed up enough for this latest snow to turn to sloppy sleet/rain. Yech. (Now I'm feeling ashamed.) Stay warm ladies!!!
Sarah Oldham says
74 degrees at 6:10am . . . sorry, Margaret! It is already warm here this morning. Aloha!
L. E. Cove says

Ladies,
I highly suggest a visit to my part of the U.S or Sarah's. Not to boast or anything but it's in the mid 70's over here in Sourthern Cali. It'll be a party š
Think of warm and cozy thoughts….
momto5minnies says
YIKES! That would require a constant intake of hot liquids so that I wouldn't freeze.
Hope the coffee, tea, and hot cocoa are in good supply.

Since you are taking temps….we have -19 right now…..yuck!!!!
Paula says
Well, it was 30 below at 5 am, when the power went out for us and 650 other families up here. It's been back on for about 20 minutes and is now a balmy 20 below.
Lori N from MN says
Alright Ladies, I just KNEW we'd have "checking-in" of temps! And being the disciplined momma that I am (NOT! – But I just knew that if I got online this morning, I wouldn't get my to-do list done. I'm in 'one-of-those' moods today, so I stayed off-line and have accomplished everything on my entire list! Including all our lessons for the day. Yay! My reward? Reading MN Mom, of course!!)
Okay, right now, at 1:25pm it is a balmy -8 degrees, with no wind!!
At 7:10 this morning, our thermometer was reading -38 degrees. brr.
Yup, the pups spent the night inside last night, and don't want to head out there much at all today. No wonder.
Stay warm! At least this is supposed to be a very short-lived cold snap. Thank goodness.

I just sat down to write a blog entry on Hawaii. My sister and I left on virtual vacation today. We are driving up Diamond Head right now in our rented Jeep.
Ahhhh! It's so beautiful here in my mind.
