“Hand” Dancing

December 14, 2010 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, odds and ends 13 Comments

Am I the only one who hadn’t heard of this until these two showed up on the McDonald’s commercials?

This just intrigues me.

Has never seen the McDonalds commercial, but I was definitely captivated watching this clip. It's so strange and yet I couldn't stop watching.

"Has never seen…" good grief! I've been updating my FB and plurk status too often I guess. 😛

I saw the commercial just last night and wasn't sure what to think. Interesting to say the least and they are very coordinated.

Yup, I think they are/were Irish clog dancers ala Riverdance. I think they are very clever and original. As for McDonalds – I don't own a tv – but I'm glad I can watch them here.

Fascinating! I've never seen anything like that. Jodi, I noticed the sign of the cross, too, although I wasn't sure if it was intentional or not.

My kids Irish dance and they 'hand dance' to run through the steps (when they're not busy actually running through them…in the living room, the grocery store, the checkout line, etc.). I didn't know it was so clever until seeing this couple.

I wonder if other dance forms also 'hand dance'.
