Should you still remain unconvinced that a cookie sheet brimming with sudsy water is worth the toil and trouble…
And because one can never post too many photos of their children drinking Palmolive dish soap (Fresh Green Apple! Yum!)…
And to prove one last time that this family fun science knows no age limits (okay, maybe that kid in the bouncy seat is excluded)…
I bring you Angela and her Straw.

Faith says, “She’s really cute.” But I had to work hard to convince her that Angela was not DRINKING the bubbles.

Well, if a pan of soapy water brings so much delight, I guess I’m gonna break out the straws this weekend. At least I’ll know they washed their hands before dinner!

That looks like good, clean fun to me! I’ve gotta try that with my crew this weekend. I’ll let you know how it turns out as well. Or if they are burping up Palmolive the rest of the day.

I was thinking about this today. I think we may have to do that this weekend. I know my older son would have a blast! Whenever he plays with bubbles in the bath, he puts them in the play cups and calls it his “sugar”. I have no idea why, but he sure does have fun ( and “sugar” is said with a five year old British accent).
Alice Gunther says
Oh, this is the best!!!! You’ve inspired me!
My kids would love this!
B-Mama says
We will be curing our winter blues this coming week with a little bubble blowing! Great idea, Margaret, can’t wait!
Tracy says
This was the perfect novelty for our day on Friday. I did forget to remind the children not to inhale – maybe next time John will remember on his own!
