But I’m having a bad muffin day.

A bad muffin day, indeed.

    Oh NO!!
I was just flipping through that cookbook yesterday at my mom’s house, wanting to first MOVE INTO HER HOUSE and second make just about every recipe in the book. I’ll be picking it up at the library soon.
Hope the next muffins work out better ((((bighugs))))

I’ll bet they taste great and your kids will love every last crumb.

As with us, the outside appearance is not what matters anyway. 🙂

You have my sympathy Margaret. For me, every day is a bad muffin day. I can bake cakes and cookies perfectly well, but for some reason every attempt at muffins ends in dismal failure.

    You and me both !

I made muffins today, from a new recipe book.
I merrily spooned the mixture into 12 muffin cases and baked them.
I took them out of the oven and they were FLAT !

I re-read the recipe rather more carefully and found they should have made 6 muffins, not 12….

Still, they did taste nice anyway:-)

HA! Every day is a bad muffin day for the mama with the oven that doesn’t work! At least your kids got to eat SOME kind of muffin!

A few weeks ago I forgot to put any sugar in the muffins I baked. Oddly enough, the no-sugar muffins have become a favorite for three of my children. Weird, weird children.

Personally, I love flat muffins. Yours look delicious!
