One picture can be worth…

April 17, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Hearth & Home, Minnesota Me, Motherhood 4 Comments

…a thousand reminders of all that is the most important in our lives.

Here are two of my reminders.

Today (God willing) I am going to try to:

  • stop and smell the roses (which aren’t in bloom yet, but still);
  • be patient patient patient, especially with the number one little mess-maker in my life (pictured above on the right–say “Cheese”, Camille!);
  • and finally, to listen to the music of my day, as has been recommended here and here and here. (Even though this video of Joshua Bell is ancient news by now, I am linking to it on my blog as yet another reminder to slow down….)

Have a blessed day, my friend! God loves you and so do I.

So there.

    Welcome back, Margaret! Do stop and smell the roses – you have dozens and dozens of them around you, and you are the most lovely bouquet yourself!

    I just stumbled upon your blog for the first time, and as I was going through, I was shocked to see the name Josha Bell… someone actually knows of him ! šŸ™‚ So I took the time to read (most) the article…. I had no idea he did that experiment…it was a real eye opener!
