Calling all Weight Watchers

Now you get to watch mine, too. 😉

I am back on the program as of today’s 7:00 a.m. meeting and it feels great. I hadn’t gone to a meeting since August.

What a coincidence! That was the same time I began this blog! I have gained 15 pounds since, (the freshman blogger’s 15?), which on my short little frame–5’0” on a good day–means feeling squished in almost everything.

How I hate that feeling.

More than anything, though, I hate not being in control of my big mouth. (And you just leave that remark alone! I know what fun you could have with it.) I am living off of BLT’s, it seems, and all those Bites, Licks & Tastes are adding up.

The cause and effect paragraph reads like this: Begin blog. Consistently choose writing time over exercise. Eat with wild abandon. Gain lots of weight.

So it’s time to get back on track, and you must promise to keep me honest. I know that Jennifer started posting her weight loss and I’m going to follow suit.

And while I promise not to bore you with all the details, I will assure that I am always here to talk. I am a woman who understands over-eating, having lived through it (and all its icky little friends) for 40 years now.

Have a blessed weekend!
