Stephen, while sitting at the couch and considering our recently assembled (yes, assembled) Christmas tree: “Mommy, I like how you spread the branches of our tree out.”
Me (pleased to be appreciated for our tree’s lovely conical shape, which required some effort on my part after its having been squished in a box all year): “Thank you, Stephen!”
Stephen: “It’s just like a giant spear.”
Pause.
“Or a lance.”
LOL, Margaret! My Crackerjack would probably have said the same thing! 🙂
That’s too cute!
Compliments from kids are never quite what they seem, are they!
That is HILARIOUS!!!
LOL Why can I identify with this? 😉
Too funny!
