My Writing Off-Line

November 8, 2006 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, My Writing Elsewhere 9 Comments

For those of you who subscribe to Family Foundations, (the Couple to Couple League’s publication), I have an article on page 8 of the Nov/Dec issue. I was asked to do the profile on CCL boardmember Bob Laird, who runs the Tepeyac Family Center in Fairfax, VA and who has to be one of the nicest gentlemen I’ve ever interviewed.

May God richly bless him and his apostolate! We need as many family-friendly, Pro-Life clinics as possible.

Will you be able to post the article on the blog at some point?

Oh my goodness! I had my first child with Tepeyac and had the most wonderful experience. ALL the doctors and nurses couldn’t have been more caring and not just for the baby but the mother as well. It makes such a difference to be in a pro-life clinic. We’re now in Indiana, having our second and I dearly miss Tepeyac!

    Margaret,
I go to Tepeyac, and would love to read your article about Bob Laird. How can I get a copy? Thanks, love your blog.

I go to Tepeyac too…Dr. Bruchalski delivered my son three years ago, and Dr. Martin (no longer there) delivered Maia. I think Dr. B or Dr. Fisk will be delivering this one. I drive an hour one way to see them.

I love, love the people at Tepeyac. Great job on writing the article!

I don’t know if I can post the article on my blog–Family Foundations has the copyright. I’ll look into it, though.

Hey Mary! I just got my copy of Family Foundations yesterday, and would not have known it was you who wrote the article since I didn’t know your last name. Thanks for sharing. Great article. You are a superb writer.

As a sidenote, my little brood appeared on the cover of the July/August issue.

Have you written any other articles for CCL? I would love to look back at my old copies and read them.

Oh, I go to Tepeyac also. And Bob Laird is one of the sweetest men…we’ve worked with him in other ventures before Tepeyac. He has been such a blessing for the office. Wish I could read the article.

Jill: I have written for Family Foundations twice before: a synopsis of Mary-Louise Kurey’s speech at CCL’s 2006 convention, (Sept/Oct 2006)and a feature story on Bill & Jackie Logue of South Dakota (March/April 2006).

And I recognized your photo from the cover of the July/Aug 2006 issue–too cool!
