Okay, so co-sleeping (with an infant) (on a twin bed) (in a sleeping bag) proved to be less than idyllic. Still, the rest of the weekend was dreamy!
Nasty mosquitoes notwithstanding.
Hey, it’s Minnesota!
Full post is pending the success of this morning’s caffeine drip. In the meantime, you may read more about this camp if you’d like:

You know me, Margaret… I won't camp period, nevermind with a newborn.
You are already Superwoman in my book.
Hope you had a great time!

I have just found your blog and I really enjoyed reading your recent posts. Thank you for sharing your feelings of stress and overwhelm and for reminding me that life will be OK and the kids will be happy even if the dishes aren't done and the laundry comes right back out of the basket (clean but not folded). I have been struggling with what is really important vs. what my instincts tell me to do. God bless you and your beautiful family!

You are the "Brave Soul" today !! I would never go camping, let alone with a newborn. Camping and I do not get along. I think it is because I once fell out of a platform tent at Girl Scout Camp LOL. (I was wearing only my pants and bra at the time. I was just about to put my shirt on!)

cool…at least your husband brings you to a camp. Mine has to drag me all the way to the mountains to get away from the bugs!
Looking forward to hearing about you and your sleepingbagbuddy!

For the mosquitos – mix one part original Listerine with four parts water in a spray bottle and spray the area where you will be in the evening and it will keep the mosquitos away. It works and isn't toxic and fights plaque and bad breath.

We should have formed a support group for co-sleeping on the bottom bunk moms 🙂

I haven't seen the full post yet and it's Tuesday night. Are you having difficulty setting up a successful caffeine drip?

That sounds great! Where is the camp? We are in central MN, too, and just wondering if our church could set up a family week too!
