Child’s Play

August 29, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, Motherhood, Real Learning 3 Comments

I had to interrupt my daughters’ game at lunchtime: “Girls,” I said, poking my head out the front door, “It’s time to come in for lunch.”

“Mommy!” Felicity looked up from her “house” excitedly. “We’re making soup, too!”

She paused briefly to sprinkle a few more petals into the “pot”.

“This is ooah ooah,” she said, “this pink stuff is, and it’s really good. Cate told me.”

“Uh huh!” Cate nodded. “It comes from Hawaii.”

They followed me into the house then, to have some of my soup.

I may have forgotten to add the ooah ooah, but I did not forget to grin.

Hi there!

I’m Margaret in Minnesota, and this is my mom's-eye perspective of a kid-heavy life. I love the Lord; I take lots of photos; and I always try to tell it like it is, from sex to depression and everything in between! I hope you enjoy your time here. ♥
