…and there is a lot to be done!
Still, I would be remiss to just leave you high and dry at this joyful time, with nary a link nor a whit of creativity on my part.
So here goes.
This is for Rebecca, whose post today is a must-read. (Check out that quote and its author at the bottom! Oh my.)
And this is for Jennifer, whose Possom Post (also delightful) brought to mind the following WWJD situation chez nous:
I brought up a mouse trap from the basement. It was loaded. My son said, “Let me dissect it!” I declined.
Does this make me a bad homeschooler? I’m just wondering.
Have a blessed day!
Jennifer says
You didn’t provide scalpels for your young scientist??? That’s funny. My daughter is SO excited. She wants to learn all about oppossums now. Again, I say ewwww.
Jamie says
ewwwww! I have not helped or encouraged actual disecting, but I have been known to stop on the side of the road to look at a racoon, how else are they going to see one this close?
Rebecca says
Thanks for the tea article Margaret! Instead of finishing my closets, I have spent the morning organizing my tea and spices, all the while sipping on a cup (OK, maybe a couple cups).
Sue says
Margaret,
I love all your recipes and am trying the wild rice soup this evening (yes, I’ll be sure to pray for you). What I’m really, really, super-dee-duper all star hungry for is a very creamy, very rich tomato bisque soup. Have you any good recipes to share?
Your play dough recipe trumps the wimpy recipe my preschooler came home with from his teacher. I tried it and “flop city”. Lesson learned: Always trust a mother of many over a “professional educator”!
Blessings to you today!
