You know that Minnesota Mom is sick if not even a cup of coffee looks appealing.
That’s right. The stomach flu lottery came ’round again and this time–hooray!–my name was chosen.
If you need me I’ll be over on the couch.
Lots of Coffee, lots of kids. It's a peaceful life.

I’m Margaret in Minnesota, and this is my mom's-eye perspective of a kid-heavy life. I love the Lord; I take lots of photos; and I try to always tell it like it is, from sex to depression and everything in between! I hope you enjoy your time here. ♥

Oh, no, Margaret! That’s especially awful when one also has morning/noon/night sickness!
I can never drink coffee in the first trimester anyway. It’s always such fun to hit that 4th/5th month and have a cup again.
Recover from that flu quickly!

Margaret,
First trimester nausea AND the stomach flu–many prayers coming for you and your family–that it doesn’t spread like wildfire…:(
Kimberlee says

Thank you, all, for your prayers and your well wishes! The bug appears to have been of the 24-hour variety, because having just taken a lovely hot bath and applied some make-up to my previously death-like pallor, I feel no end of better!

I’m glad I checked in to find your update that you are feeling better. I’ve been thinking of you all day and wondering how you were hanging in there. Minnesota is swarming with nasty viruses. We went up there for Christmas, and my husband wound up with a terrible case of the stomach flu (never been sicker in his whole life he says), and the kids and I all got bad colds that we are all still reeling from (which is why I’ve been an absentee commenter lately though I’ve been reading your posts.)
Can’t wait to have you back in full force blogging mode.

Oh Yay God! Rejoicing with you that you are feeling better and I pray you will continue to improve. That curse of sickness is browken!
Burr it is chilly here in MN today. Even my car was groaning. That was a first for us this year.
