The Loveliness of Advent

November 29, 2006 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Blogging, Minnesota Me 2 Comments

Plan to spend some time at the Fair today! Jenn is hosting The Loveliness of Advent over at Family in Feast in Feria; thank you, Jenn, for all your hard work!

Jenn’s “whew!” at the end of her post said it all. There were many entries this time around; in part, I think, because there are so many ways to make this beautiful season of Advent lovely and memorable! The trick is to pick and choose.

My prayer (fervently spoken for myself and others like me who are prone to perfectionism) is that we trust the Spirit to guide our Advent planning and preparations. May we not seek to “do it all” but rather, to do what we can…with great love.
