movie is Invincible: the story of a down & out group of losers (aka the Philadelphia Eagles) brought back to life when a rookie from the streets of south Phillie (Mark Wahlberg) joins the team.
Fondness for the sport of football is not required, though it was fun for me to attend the movie with my friend Tina, who grew up living & breathing the sport and is a dyed-in-the-green & gold-wool Green Bay Packers backer. She holds her own against her husband, a lifelong Steelers fan(atic)!
Anyway, back to the movie. The 70’s music soundtrack is right on, and the fashions are every bit as funny and embarassing as they should be. Who could forgot those terrycloth sundresses and the Farrah Fawcett hair? Great stuff, and a great family film all in all.
