Sheenazing Blog Awards

If you’re like me, you had to read the name of this award a couple of times before it sank in. That’s Sheen-azing, as in named after the Venerable Bishop Fulton Sheen.

[When I taught high school religion, I introduced my 11th graders to his writing. They called him “The Bish” and grew to love his wisdom, this despite his being some unheard-of old guy from the 50’s.]

Anyway, I am calling your attention to these awards because I was nominated in the category of Coolest Blogger. (Stop laughing.) I had to read the fine print to see if by “Coolest” they meant “harried,” “disorganized,” and “completely tapped out.” As it turns out, they did!

Indeed.

Actually, I am really calling your attention to these awards because Bonnie @ A Knotted Life took the time to put it all together AND send an email to tell me I was nominated. Also, someone else took the time to nominate me…so thank you.
