There is so much I could say but all of it can wait.

Nicholas David Announce

For now, dear friends, we wish you the very best—the best rest-of-Advent and the best, most beautiful, most family-centered Christmas ever.

With love from us in Him as always,

Rest assured, Barbara–I AM resting. Even stayed home from Mass this morning (which just about killed me, guilt-wise, but I prayed the prayers) to get over my head cold and rest my bottom, as per your instructions. 🙂

      Tonight…Grandma Cathy & Grandpa Doug & wine & family and wonderfulness.♥

What a beautiful little baby. My Meggie was born thirteen years ago during Advent, and I remember that Christmas as the most wonderful ever. Singing hymns and carols for the newborn King, with our own newborn babe in my arms! I felt a special kinship with the Blessed Virgin that year. Hope you do, too!

    Lots of love…

Margaret, I just poppe in on your blog for the first time in maybe a year or two and found this beautiful blessing staring at me! Congratulations! I know you have suffered much grief in the loss of some of your children and it is so wonderful to see your new little one in your arms. I too lost a baby at 37 weeks gestation almost 5 years ago. I wish I came through it as gracefully as you seem to have but things got very dark for me for a while. I now know however that God's loving arms were holding me through it all and am so thankful for that. Congratulations again on your beautiful family.
