The Dog Days of Winter

January 13, 2010 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Hearth & Home, Minnesota Me, My Girls, The Dawg 14 Comments

Ellie was sick this morning, poor dear. She threw up on the carpet.

“Keep an eye on the dog, will you, Angela?” I said as I went upstairs to get dressed. “She may get sick again.”

This is what I found when I came back down.

Poor Sick Puppy

Forewarned is forearmed, I guess.

And in this case, those arms are furry.

    Love this!

Let me know if you have success with getting the dog to use the bucket.

That is Use #234 of Kemps gallon ice cream buckets!

Little Mary was sick last week and I wasn't very successful at getting a bucket underneath her in time.

    Blessings!

The funniest part for me is that I am fairly certain, from past experience, that if Ellie did need to use the bucket the first thing she would do is walk away from it.

    Cute!

You forgot to mention if she had also trained the dog to use the bucket. THAT would have been impressive, since I have kids that can't use the bucket!
