Breakin’ the Law

So, yeah. The laptop prop in the photo below was indeed just that. It belongs to my husband and when he left yesterday morning, so did it.

However, and this is a huge however, there is a wall-mounted computer in my hospital room used by the staff to enter my stats, and I couldn’t help but notice a little “Internet Explorer” icon on the screen.

You know me. Here I am.

I would like to thank you for all the well-wishes on Baby Anthony’s birth announcement. We are a baby-loving bunch, aren’t we? Anthony is perhaps the cutest baby I have ever seen, with, of course, the exception of your own sweet newborns. He is nursing like a champ and I am smitten.

Please know that your kind comments have done wonders to help me forget the sleepless night I spent last night, what with countless Gestapo nurses bursting in on Momma & son at all hours.

(Although there was that one who brought me processed cheese and crackers. She was nice.)

Thankfully, I’ll be home tomorrow morning and we can visit more then. I’ll bring the coffee and you bring the–

I saw you with coffee in that photo and laughed so hard. You crack me up. Yes, the nurses are great but it is hard to sleep while in the hospital. Can’t wait to hear more and see more beautiful pictures!

Let me be the one to get rid of “1 brave souls” problem–now it’s 2 and gramatically correct!

Congratulations Margaret! So Sweet!! You will be in my prayers! Enjoy your rest when you can get it!

Sorry about that delete – grammatical errors in my rushing before getting dinner on!

LOL – about using the hospital computer. BE quick those gestapo nurses WILL be back. I am sorry, but with my last pregnancy – that is exactly how 9 out of 10 were. I am thrilled that Anthony is nursing so well!

I don’t know about you – but I couldn’t wait to get home and out of the hospital!

    God Bless!

Oh, Margaret, you are too funny!! LOL!!! I hope that you can get some sleep in there somehow. It’s not going to get any better once you get home (unless you have grandma coming over to help-smile).

And how come you get to look so cute after just giving birth?? (gives stern look).

Ahhh. We love you anyways. (smiles and winks).

You are such a rule breaker! So, you’ll be home tomorrow and I’ll be at the Capitol and the Cathedral on Thursday. Hmmm….I can definitely light candles for you, and throw in a few prayers. I could even drop off some coffee for you…or anything else you need…Yes, I know, it’s a shameless way to beg to see the baby…

I always wondered about the computers in the hospital room – but I never dared trying. I guess what are they going to do to you?

I hope you get some sleep!

You are so BAD! LOL! Of course, I’m the same way! I would’ve been on that computer too!

I hear you on those nurses! I’ve had some real mean and nasty ones. I think they go into nursing because they like CONTROL, not because they want to help people.

I hope you’ve gotten to go home by now.

    Double Congratulations!

    1. On the birth birth of Anthony Joseph!

    2. On your winning the award for Most Under-appreciated Blog in the 2009 Cannonball Awards voting with 266 votes against a very large field.

That means, of course that next year you will have to find a different category for yourself.
