Illness Update

February 8, 2008 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Health & Wellness, Hearth & Home, Minnesota Me 6 Comments

Mom is on the mend, thanks be to God & your get-well greetings. The worst of it was over once I’d…er…been divested of my lunch & breakfast (in that order). Why couldn’t it have been a fast day? After that, though, it was just a question of lots of bed rest (for Mom) and frozen pizza for the kids.

Thank you to Laura my favorite crazy mama for clearing up Barbara’s niggling doubts regarding the movie on the screen. Yes, that was indeed the ever-toothy Dudley Do-Right the girls were watching, all part and parcel of the wonderful 4-volume Rocky & Bullwinkle DVD collection we’d rented from the library two days prior. Talk about providential.

And finally, in defense of our beloved family dog, she was given that back issue of Magnificat by the photographer who shall, of course, remain nameless. What some people won’t do for a photo! It’s scandalous, really, but funny, (I hope), and I know that you’ll forgive me.

Eep! Did I say me?

Still silly but none the thinner for all that nausea,

Ah, well, if you’re feeding magazines to the dog just for funny photos, you must be feeling okay. 🙂 Glad you’re better!

Glad you are feeling better. We have some cold weather we would like to send you. We have had it for several weeks and we are finished with it.

You better put those new issues on a HIGH shelf, now that Ellie knows she’s ALLOWED to have them! Oh, Margaret! Silly girl.

Glad your feeling better. Better to stay inside just in case. :o) I hope you don’t have the deep freeze coming your way tomorrow like its expected here in Iowa. The high is supposed to be 0!!!! Is Spring here yet?

I’m glad you are on the mend, but sorry about your Magnificat! Ack! My heart goes out to you. And I laughed out loud at you saying still not thinner after all that sickness. lol! You are beautiful! Don’t ever forget it. 😉 (that sounded like a cheesy greeting card, don’t you think?)
