Are you keeping one eye on all things lunar, too? Full eclipse for us folks in CST at about 9:00 p.m.

And here is what the kids were doing.
(In addition to gazing up at the moon, of course.)
Hey, they’d been cooped up all day. I can’t say that I blame ‘em.

It’s pretty amazing to watch something like this. I’m glad the skies cleared so we could see it!

I am impressed that you are braving the frigid temps to see the eclipse. It is beautiful… but I am a wimp when it comes to sub-zero temps. Enjoy!

Too cloudy here, sigh….

I didn’t even take a peak — just too stinkin’ cold out.

Its so awesome! The skies were perfectly clear, so you could see stars AND planets too. My 5 year old was laying on the floor by the window watching it with my husband talking very deep thoughts about the universe. SO CUTE!
Heather says
That was an incredible show! And seeing Saturn right there next to it was icing on the cake. The guy at the planetarium said we won’t see Saturn so close for another 20 something years.
I hope it warms up for you soon!
Karen E. says
Ooooh, it clouded up here and we couldn’t see anything! Waaah!
Jamie says
I saw it too, but only remembered too late for the kids, they were already in bed!!
