And if that chair hadn’t been in the way, we would have been treated to the sight of him chewing away a large portion of the feeder.

Birds have far better manners, in my opinion.

We have the same problem. I still have to find some REALLY heavy wire to repair one that the squirrel had his way with….but I have another one called “squirrel proof” that he can eat out of, but he can’t ruin. I think that’s as good as it gets.

Yes, our squirrels are such pigs. They have even eat our suet squares and our songbird mix. Do they think winter is coming? I should get some pictures. Since my 2 year old loves to watch the “squirdies”, I guess I will tolerate them.

That is really funny! You have to admire that kind of determination, though. Sort of like when something comes between me and a bar of dark chocolate!LOL!

I laughed out loud at the idea that you now have a category for “obnoxious rodents.” 🙂

The very best part of this post is the label. I look forward to more entries under this label.

oops I now see Karen had similar thoughts.

The squirrels in our area are HUGE because of all the acorns around. So, we are lucky they stick to their own food. LOL!

I’m with Karen and Suzanne–love that label! I can think of plenty of posts that I could write using that label, but do I really want to spend time writing about the big rodents we have around here?…uh, probably not.
