Overbooked and Underpaid

October 4, 2006 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me 7 Comments

is how I feel, but no matter! I’ve got Friends in high places!

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Mt. 11: 28-30)

I am thankful for this invitation, which comes to me from today’s Gospel on such a busy day. Blue Knights, Little Flowers, Choir practice, the opening Mass for Religious Ed…all will be submitted to the Father and, I pray, be to His glory.

    Helen:

This is what I found at the Ecce Homo Press Website: “Little Flowers Girls’ Club™ is a Catholic program for girls ages 5 and up based on learning Catholic virtues through the lives of Catholic saints, Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Developed by a Catholic mom of nine, Rachel Watkins, and based on Fr. Lasance’s Catholic Girls’ Guide, the Club strives to bring the Catholic faith alive and inspire the girls to become authentic Catholic women.”

You can click on the link to learn about the Blue Knights, which is a similar program developed for boys.

    Hope that helps!

Hi again Margaret: Would you mind providing the link to the Ecce Homo Press website? I’ve googled and can’t find it. Thanks much.
