Look Who’s Two Today!

October 11, 2006 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, Special Events 11 Comments

And on the Feast of the Maternity of Mary to boot!

I am so thankful for you, my little Hurricane Camille, because you are teaching your mother all over again to see the world through the eyes of a very busy 2-year-old.

For example, little messes are no big deal. Ditto to those big messes. Heck, let’s just learn the art of detachment! Because a 2-year-old’s need to pilfer, spill and ransack is passing…and then the next thing you know, she’s grown.

Happy Birthday, Sweetie! You are every inch a handful and I love you with all my heart.

    For My Godchild

As pure as the winter’s first snow…you are,
A vision of innocence blessed from afar.
Sent to this earth for us all to love,
A cherished, adorable, gift from above.
A child of the angels and Godchild to me,
The dearest of treasures there ever could be!

    Happy Birthday Camille!!

Thank you, Everyone, for making our little gal’s day extra special! I am printing out these comments for her baby book.

And to Camille’s dear godparents, Titi Tanya & Tio Angel: your beautiful poem brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye. We are so blessed in you.
