“Tomorrow is Mom & Dad’s anniversary!” I announced to the kids.
“You mean you were married right after Christmas?” Joe asked.
”And right before New Year’s Eve,” I answered happily, thinking him impressed by the festivity.
“That’s chaotic,” he replied.
*Note: The title of this post refers to the number of years that we’ve been married and not my son’s age, which is 13. Wouldn’t it be juicy gossip if it were the other way around?

Happy Anniversary. We did the same thing. Althought we took the Feast of the Holy Innocents as our day. We are only 14 years this year. 🙂 It was and continues to be chaotic. But very joyful chaos.

our anniversary is new year's day – and it WAS chaotic, but i wouldn't have it any other way! (ps. my birthday is on the 27th, so add that to the mix! i turned 21 that year… man, i'm old now :-p)

We'll be married sixteen years on New Years Day and we just attending a local couple's wedding on the 26th. For us – and them – the ceremony just happens to coincide with Christmas block leave. 🙂
