My name is Anthony and I’m what my mother calls “a demanding little cuss.”
I really like my mom, you see, and am excessively fond of the comfort of her two arms. She is soft & warm & smells like Giorgio.
And bacon grease.
And spit-up.
I like her so much that I don’t even mind it when she carries me about like a football. She claims she needs at least one hand free for things like eating a muffin, drinking coffee, or checking her email for a hello from a friend.

My name is Anthony, and I’m a demanding little cuss.
And I blow really excellent spit bubbles.
On behalf on my mom, who could never write an entire blog post with just one hand, I am

Dear Margaret, (or Anthony)
I know just how you feel. I am pretty sure Arwen has colic and I with the help of the children carry her around for most of the day, and part of the night.
She likes to be carriedfully forward and I get fairly sore arms by days end.
BUT she is SO entirely sweet and loveable, what can you do?
God Bless
Ahhh, I think my uterus just wept!
Awww but how could you ever want to put that cute little boy down??
haha!
He is so adorable!
Good to hear from you 'Little Demander', Anthony! Tell your mom she's doing a great job as a dear mama to such a dear demander. My empty arms would love to come hold you and give your mama a break…I'd even take the spit up bubbles and possibly a stained shirt too! Bless you Mama Margaret and Little Demander, these days are difficult, but they last but a season.
I'm glad he learned to type already. At least he has two free hands.
What happened to baby-wearing?
We need to get Anthony and Benedict together. They can hang out and blow bubbles at each other.
This post has me all smiles!!!
Every time I come here, I get very anxious to hold my baby soon!! He's just the sweetest thing!!
yes, woman, where is your sling?
I just love those fat milk lips.
Joolz
I'm still using a sling, Barbara & Michelle, but the old back starts to hurt after awhile and I need to give it a break.
So cute! Every time you put up a picture of him, Margaret, it makes me so happy, remembering what a long road it was before you had this little guy to keep your arms (and lap!) full. God be with you all!
And you're positively scrumptious, little Anthony!! Can I hold you??
Hi Margaret and Anthony,
I can't believe how big you've gotten, Anthony, and what a proficient writer you've become.
You are quite cute, and your family is blessed to have you.
I'm not so good at handling the baby one handed and he's not even up to the 8 pound mark yet. I was going to ask "How do you do it?" because I've been feeling like my little boy is holding me captive but I can tell your angel is just as demanding.
Luckily it is hard to be mad at or feel resentful toward something so incredibly cute!
